We didn’t see the pandemic coming either. But when COVID-19 hit, we were ready. That’s because Kelly® has seen workplace dynamics shifting for years. So, we already built the infrastructure, and provided our recruiters with the tools and resources they need to serve clients from anywhere—and quickly.
That kind of insightful agility is why Forbes has named us a Top 3 recruiter in the U.S.
We placed 450 health screeners in 27 locations across the country for a national grocery chain client—in under two weeks.
Of course, our clients actually helped us earn the prestigious award. Forbes and Statista Inc. surveyed 25,000 recruiters, plus 5,000 job candidates and hiring managers, who ultimately put us on the podium. They know we’ve mastered virtual workforce solutions and we can meet their needs when other providers can’t. Pandemic or not.
When COVID-19 first arrived in the U.S., one client decided to act right away. The company, among the country’s top 3 food and drug retailers, recognized the need to hire health screeners in March, and asked Kelly to help with staffing these essential positions. Using our remote recruiting capabilities, we hired and onboarded people within days. By April 2, the first screeners were in place. Today, 450 Kelly temporary workers support the grocery chain in 27 locations across the country. As the scope of the project evolved with the growing crisis, Kelly added responsibilities to job descriptions and brainstormed additional solutions with the customer. We also shared best practices from other clients in similar situations, and sourced PPE to make sure all health screeners were safe.
“The Kelly team has been incredibly responsive and proactive. If there is ever a concern at any location, we can quickly get all parties on the phone to work through whatever challenges we may be encountering. Kelly has worked hard to provide us with great customer service through the deployment and execution of the health assessor assignments across our supply chain.” - Client Manager
We’re making the same difference for hundreds of other clients. Kelly has filled more than 5,000 COVID-related roles since demand began in late March. And we can help you, too.
